Why Toyota Is Hellbent On Keeping The Hydrogen-powered Mirai Alive Despite Its Poor Sales. Toyota expects Europe to become a leading force in the global FCEV market by the beginning of the next decade.
This makes no sense to me. It’s a BEV with extra steps and expensive components. Why not use hydrogen for applications where it makes better sense? Toyota could be leading the battery ev market by now if they just gave up on the whole hydrogen boondoggle and cut their losses.
