  1. Really means diddly squat what you think of him in private, you kept your mouth shut whenever it mattered

  2. That’s why so many people can’t get enough of him.

It’s nice having a president who is on your level.

Mitch McConnells private comments about Donald Trump reveal a stark contrast to his public endorsements, indicating his disdain for Trump’s character while feeling politically obligated to support him for party unity. This duality raises questions about authenticity in politics, as McConnell navigates the tensions within the GOP amidst Trump’s influence. As the election approaches, these revelations may significantly impact voter sentiment and party dynamics.

  4. That disgusting SOB is a big part of the reason we are in this mess. Hope the Lion he set free eats his face.

  5. Spineless Turtle – mitch could’ve done the world a favour instead he decided being a cuck was more important

  6. No … its McConnell that was ‘stupid’ and ‘despicable’ for not standing up to protect his own party, his senate, and his country from Trump.

Bitch McConnell can suck a fart from my ass. The country will be profoundly better without him, and I can’t wait

All these motherfuckers hate Trump. McConnell, Vance, Cruz, Carlson, etc etc. They all hate his guts, but they’re spineless and have no integrity so they support him anyway. It’s legit pathetic.

This just makes McConnell even more cowardly and despicable in my book. The Ted Cruzs of the world
will be remembered if at all for the weak limp wristed excuses for men that they are

  10. Everyone is calling out the turtle which yoy should but I think it is another example of what’s been known.

The party *hates* trump. Outside a few true believers I honestly think the majority of the gop absolutely despises their orange god and are silently praying he loses so they rid themselves of the cancer they embrace

There are few things I hate more than these books and their authors. I understand wanting to get paid and get recognition from a book deal, but when democracy is at stake every single one of these people choose their personal gain over performing what should be the basic duty of every American. Dude should’ve been talking about all of this the second Trump said he was running again, not when voting has started.

  12. As much as I despise McConnell, I honestly think he would’ve supported removing Trump, but he couldn’t whip the votes.

It was also reported long ago that in private he said:

    >The Democrats are going to take care of the son of a bitch for us

He’s evil, but he’s definitely not dumb when it comes to political calculus. They had ONE amazing chance to rip the bandaid off and rid themselves of Trump and rebuild the party around someone else.

People might remember, but even spineless Kevin McCarthy was [caught on tape with Liz Cheney](https://www.npr.org/2022/04/22/1093974389/kevin-mccarthy-audio-resign-donald-trump-capitol-riot) exploring ways to convince Trump to resign or remove him from office.

But of course we know what happened. Impeachment failed in the Senate. A few days later Kevin McCarthy flew down to Mar-A-Lago to grovel for political favor, and here we are today, 4 indictments for 88 felonies later, and after much of the party naively thought DeSantis could take his place:

Trump is on the ballot with an election 19 days away.

  13. And I’m here to call Mitch McConnell cowardly, pathetic, unpatriotic, and old. Feel free to publish and attribute these comments.

  14. Future generations are going to read about McConnell and genuinely believe we were the stupidest generation for allowing him to have any sort of power.
