  1. At this point, I still can’t understand how anyone would support the Catholic Church…..

  2. Well, this is at least promising in that people are thinking for themselves and not following blindly like some we know in the U.S.

Why do we even need religions anymore? Science figured out astrological events and lighting/thunder quite a long time ago. Religion only still exists for power and greed.

  4. Promote forgiveness for others but never ask for forgiveness for your sins against the vulnerable. Why would anyone follow an institution of double standards

It’s highly immoral to donate to the Catholic Church when clergymen are actively involved in lobbying against human rights.

Which is why the Catholic church is becoming so extreme, the good people have left leaving only the scum.

I often see redditors try to defend the catholic church here by saying “This happens in all religious organizations, the catholic church is no different”.. and I can’t quite tell if they are catholics defending their religion, or atheists making a criticism of all religions.

Either way it comes across weird. We should call out the abuse when and where we see it.

Would you take your kids to Epstein island? No? Now you know why I don’t go to church

  9. This is a self selected study in the UK, which is already extremely irreligious and wasn’t very Catholic beforehand. I’m a little curious about what we can actually learn from it.

    Beyond redditors saying reddit things.

  10. Who knew being an organization dedicated to child rape/abuse and coverups could be bad for business? /s
