  1. Could it be because poor people specifically pensioners disabled people job seekers and anyone on minimum wage are not over an economic crisis and are doing extremely tough

    It’s not over, it’s the new normal. The figures quoted look good, but the cost of groceries is still outrageous and buying a house is out of the reach of a lot of middle Australians. Wages may have jumped a little, but nowhere near enough.

    I mean…peoples wages havent caught up to the really high inflation before.

    Nobodys going to thank the gov for getting inflation under control when we still havent caught up. Sucks hard for Labor that this turned into a probably decade long process and nobody will care about the hard decsions made today, but such is life. Maybe when rates actually go down people will care more?

    The short answer is that it’s simply not over. This clown read some stats and completely over stated the impact of those stats.
