  1. You know you’ve lost the plot when even Fox Entertainment channel is telling you to knock it off.

Fuck you Cavuto. Trump has been lying about everything for ten years and your fucking network is more than happy to aid and abet him. You don’t get to pretend you all of sudden have the moral high ground. FOX was 100% onboard with the big lie until they got sued into the ground. If Trump’s hurricane lies didn’t prove to be extremely unpopular this network would still be pushing them!

  3. Cavuto is one of the biggest liars on The Biggest Liars Channel. No one lies more or better than them. What a farce for him to speak up. A rare and likely unheartfelt admission of guilt.

  4. Cavuto’s right spreading false info during crises just makes things worse for people who need help. Misinformation can scare folks away from getting the aid they actually qualify for.

  5. Its disinformation, not misinformation. He knows he’s lying. They all do. Objective disinformation should be illegal.

But most everyone else at *your* network will continue to tolerate it, Neil. And the die-hard viewers of Faux News want to hear idiotic conspiracies like that.

  7. Not 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 will believers not apply for other assistance, but they will actively seek out alternative resources and they will end up getting scammed.

Scammers seize on disaster opportunities and flock to disaster zones every single time and ppl get fked.
Trump and the propaganda machine are just ensuring that more ppl get screwed this time.

Whether it be..fraudulent charities soliciting donations for disaster victims, assholes impersonating government officials offering disaster relief in exchange for personal information or money, scammers promoting fake businesses looking for investment opportunities, etc

  8. The election misinformation is perfectly fine. But they draw the line at hurricanes. Great job.

  9. Props to Fox News, they’ve somehow called Trump out more than most of the “liberal” media.

Cavuto makes a solid point; spreading misinformation like that can really hurt people who need help. It’s reckless and creates fear around getting aid.

  11. And yet, it will be…just like alllll the other things that would’ve been immediate campaign-enders just 10 years ago.

The things we as a society are now willing to excuse as ‘just the cost of doing politics’…makes me sick how far we done fell.

  12. Misinformation about hurricane aid is dangerous; it spreads fear and stops people from getting the help they need. It’s frustrating how easily lies can hurt communities.

  13. 43% percent more MAGA died during covid from believing their own propaganda; they are a death cult intent on proving Darwin right.

  14. People always get hurt by lies. In this case, these people are already hurting. It is unconscionable for him to compound their pain.

  15. The media loves to spread Trump’s lies all over the world. They’ve been tolerating him for years and helping him spread misinformation. The media is complicit.

trump has to know he is lying, but he thinks it helps him politically so fuck the people.

    Also on FoxNews just now

    >White House fights “disinfo” claim

Not “Trump spreads disinformation”, but that WH is fighting a claim.

  18. this guy is going to be fired soon isn’t he? Faux News isn’t going to keep guys like him around for long.

  19. Fox is taking a “prevent a losing lawsuit” approach here. If they embraced the crazy to the point it added to the damage, they could be accountable, and this is something in the billions. Fox doesn’t want to mess with the insurance industry.

  20. If you lie, you should be asked to prove it.

If you can’t prove it, you should be warned.

If you do it again, you should be disinvited from future appearances.

The problem with modern media is they keep rewarding the same “experts” and politicians over and over again.

It has nothing to do with party. You can find a Libertarian, Socialist, Republican, etc. that is willing to cite studies, discuss facts, and admit mistakes. But that’s too much EFFORT.

  21. >>Fox News’s Cavuto: Trump hurricane ‘misinformation’ cannot be ‘tolerated’

He says, as he tolerates Trump hurricane misinformation.

  22. I can’t stand the word “falsehoods” just say fuckin lies. These writers/editors are still so scared to actually call Trump a liar instead of saying he is “spreading falsehoods.”
