Just a note – on a recent article on the Bloc’s OAS motion, it was written that our childcare program cost the federal government $6.6B. I’m not sure how much is being kicked in by provinces, but I’m shocked that number is so low.

With waitlists sometimes years long for spots I’d hardly call it universal. This has been a classic case of the consequences of price controls. If a product or service is not profitable, businesses will stop offering it.
