Hopefully the government does the right thing here and denies the expansion but thats wishful thinking after all they recently approved 3 mines to continue for another couple decades. The benefits of jobs and what little income it brings doesn’t outweigh the environmental issues & damage that will stem from continuing to extract fossil fuels for another 20-25 years.
