Truly curious to see how this race ends. Debate Tuesday so the game isn’t close to over yet. From what I can observe, Cruz’s entire strategy so far has been:
1. run commercials about boys in girls’ bathrooms
2. hide from the public

I want to believe, but I also remember the hype here with Jamie Harrison. Haven’t seen that level of hype with Allred, but the comparison bares mentioning.
The question to me though is Allred the better gamble than donating to Tester? He is only senator have a made an additional specific donation too since it kept being repeated that Dems senate chance hinges on Montana/Tester.
I am a first time donor this year and honestly have surprised myself with how much I have donated (all senate and house funds. Harris seems to have a plenty large cash stockpile and sooner or later doesn’t the economic law of diminishing returns kick in?). I think I got one more donation left in, but is Tester, Allred, or the dark horse in Nebraska worth giving to? Though I would have to figure out how to donate to the Nebraska candidate since he is an independent.

Yeah, all well and good but Paxton has already literally bragged about stopping enough people from voting to give Trump the state in 2020.
I’m fairly certain they are running the same playbook, so it would have to be voter turnout of almost mathematical impossibility for Allred to win.
I hope I’m wrong and Texas votes like never before. i will never understand why Texas voters, who identify as the most independent people on Earth, allow their will to be denied over and over and over and over.

Out raising doesn’t mean much if young people don’t come out to vote.
Only 25% of people between 18 and 35 voted in the 2022 Texas election.
