  2. I don’t agree with this. It’s interesting, and maybe it might affect a few people… but it is akin to if the GOP have the MAGA cult go around and show off a giant 40 ft tall naked biden sculpture. It’s just… crass. I don’t see it as swaying ANY opinions. And it’s just solidifying the minds of GOP voters that “the other side is this vile and gross, we MUST keep voting GOP or they’ll get us!” etc.

  3. The glorious irony will come when an angry MAGAT sets it on fire.

[Which is probably what the artist is hoping for.]

  4. I think the Trump statue is a hilarious commentary on political culture—art often challenges norms, and this one’s certainly doing that!

  5. DifficultElk5474 on

MAGA people are well known for doing things just to blame democrats. All cases of intentional voter fraud in 2020 were MAGAs who claim voter fraud.

  6. The emperor has no clothes” is an idiom that describes a situation where people are afraid to criticize something that is false or has no value, even though it is obvious to most people. The phrase comes from the story The Emperor’s New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen, in which a vain emperor is tricked into believing he has new clothes made of invisible thread, even though he is actually naked. The story’s moral is that it is best to be honest and speak up for the truth

  7. This accomplishes nothing.

We need to defeat him at the polls because he’s a racist, fascist, wannabe authoritarian, and a moron to boot.

Publicly shaming him for not being an ideal physical specimen is sending the wrong message, and it completely misses the point in that it fails to acknowledge the threat that he poses.

  8. This is the kind of thing that a weak person like Trump will obsess about. It will eat into his tiny little brain and eat away at him slowly.
