  1. I’m sorry to say, but this is the sort of platitude you’d expect from weak thinkers aimed at other weak thinkers. Slop made for mass consumption. Everybody who knows anything has known from day one what is required to halt the war: you either credibly threaten Russia and make them believe there’s absolutely no path for them to win, or you STFU.

    And no, it’s not a “paradox”. As long as war has existed, humans have realised that appearing strong and convincing your enemy that you’re strong is the way to halt war. Heck, even animals understand this concept. Why do you think bears growl? Why do you think cats puff up when threatened?
