More than 1,000 people have been evacuated as a result of a fire at
an oil depot in Feodosia that started after a drone strike the day before.
Firefighters are still trying to extinguish the blaze, the Kremlin-appointed “administration” said.
Following a major fire that started more than a day after a Ukrainian drone strike on
an oil depot in Feodosia in annexed Crimea, 1,047 people have been evacuated,
the head of the Moscow-appointed “administration” of the city, Igor Tkachenko,
said Tuesday, October 8.
“After registration and examination by medics, people were placed in hotels and boarding
houses in the city,” Tkachenko announced in his Telegram channel.
According to him, were forced to leave the residents of the Black Sea embankment
and the neighborhood of Near Kamyshi.

The attacked terminal is located on the eastern outskirts of Feodosia,
near the village of Beregovoye. In March, Ukrainian drones had already attacked this facility.
Then the main pipeline for fuel transfer was damaged.
The same terminal was attacked in December and November 2023.
The AFU General Staff confirmed the strike on the terminal.

among other things, “to meet the needs of the occupying army of the Russian Federation.”
“The task was carried out by units of the missile forces of the armed forks of Ukraine
in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation continue,”
