  1. Hi Jill, what happened to the funds raised after the 2016 election for recount purposes?

Additionally, if you had a binary choice in the 2024 election, without the possibility of abstaining or third party, would you vote for Donald Trump or Kamala Harris?

  2. youreallcucks on

How much of your donations comes from Republicans hoping you’ll siphon votes from Democrats?

  3. TheRantingYam on

You are the largest party that doesn’t take money from corporate interests, but do you take money from Russian interests?

  4. Hi Jill, thanks for doing this AMA. I have so many questions but first can you address this statement?

“We are not in a position to win the White House.
But we do have a real opportunity to win something historic. We could deny Kamala Harris the state of MI. And the polls show that most likely Harris cannot win the election without MI.”

I mean it really, really sounds like your true intent is to get Trump into the White House. Which is weird because I thought the Green Party was for climate action and saving the the environment. Silly me.

Quick question, if you do succeed how do I look my legal immigrant wife in the eyes and tell her she may deported back to her home country simply for being the wrong skin color? Trump guaranteed that this is gonna happen if gets back in office so I really want to hear the mental gymnastics behind why you would cheerlead for this kind of misery.

Also will you personally be rounding up migrant children at the border to put in cages or will you be yucking it up with your buddy Putin?

Anyways you should change your surname to Stain, because history is gonna do it for you.

    Cheers! (NOT!)

  5. Why is the green party strategy to disrupt only on a presidential level, with seemingly no grass roots in local politics?

  6. Ms Stein, You have no chance to win but you can move enough votes that Trump wins. Does that concern you at all?

  7. and have gone hard against just Harris recently. Even though she has called for a ceasefire and her opponent has said “do it faster”. At least this go around the green party is just a GOP shill. Why not run for congress or senate to actually get things done.

  8. Hi Jill what happened to the millions of dollars you raised in 2016 for an election recount? That never took place and you’ve never properly accounted for the money. Seems very shady.

Do you actually give a shit about Palestine or is it just populism for gullible zoomers?

  10. What sort of plans does the Green Party have for state advocacy? It would seem that a strategy of only being in national elections is backward for a minor party trying to grow, so are their any plans to take that growth seriously?

  11. Spiritual-Dog160 on

    1. Why haven’t you endorsed Donald Trump (because your campaign is clearly trying to help him)?

    2. How many people are in the House of Representatives?

    3. How do you differentiate yourself from Trump?

    Cheers! /s

If you really believe in the green party and it’s values, why don’t you guys run green party candidates in smaller local elections across the country in areas where a win is possible? Why throw a hail mary every 4 years on only the presidential level?

It just comes across as wanting to be a spoiler. Im not actually against the green partys values but it doesn’t seem to be run as a serious party.

What do you believe to be the greatest threat to the United States and how would you work with congress to address it?

  14. bud_little6128 on

Why are you so willing to work with literal Neo Nazis in support of Russia’s genocide in Ukraine?

  15. If the intention of the Green Party is in fact to actually be a viable third party, then why is there virtually no effort made at growing power at levels below the presidency? There has not been an elected Green member of the House in years, there are only four mayors in the entire country and there are barely any city or student council members. Wouldn’t focusing on lower stakes, winnable races be ultimately more efficient than doing nothing but running doomed campaigns?

  16. What’s your opinion on Trump secretly sending covid tests to Putin while Americans were dying?

  17. at_least_u_tried on

Thanks for doing this, I have a two-part question.

I understand that a key part of your campaign is highlighting the mishandling of foreign policy from the Biden administration around Israel & Palestine. I’m with you that this administration has been far too supportive of Israeli aggression towards innocent Palestinian people, however I must ask what part you think will be solved under Donald Trump. Lets keep in mind that this is a man who has accused Harris of being someone who “Hates Israel”, as well as urged Israel to “finish the problem”. So I want to ask, Do you not fear that Donald Trump will be even more extreme in his hardline pro-Israel stance when he’s currently telling us exactly that?

The second part of my question deals with what level of responsibility you would personally feel if your campaign actually does help Donald Trump win the election and vulnerable populations in this country are forced to face significant abuses they simply would not face under a Harris presidency. Will you feel any guilt if large numbers of Haitian-Americans unjustly have their legal statuses overturned and end up being deported? Will you feel any guilt if the death rate of pregnant women skyrockets due to forced births under a federal abortion ban? Will you feel any guilt if Trump rolls back protections of Transgender people and continues to spread radical anti-trans propaganda throughout his presidency like he is currently demonstrating in his campaign advertisements?

  18. Given thr green parties supposed goals and ideals why are you so willing to act as a spoiler for Harris and help Trump win?

Given Trump and the republican parties clear hatred of what you stand for that move doesn’t make much sense

  19. globalvarsonly on

I don’t see a lot of green candidates in my local or state races. Is the green party a real political party, or something that just exists to pop up every 4 years and get attention and meddle in presidential elections?

  20. I’m a far left, pro Palestinian,  blm, brown male.
Why do you continue to use my community as Thanos infinity stones for coverage of who you are truly?

And why do you support maga?

I was going to think about voting for you once upon a time, until it became obvious you are using black and brown bodies as protection from your true self.

  21. 11PoseidonsKiss20 on

As someone who fully believes that the two party system is not ideal. The reality is that two parties are all that can exist in this system and current zeitgeist.

How do you rationalize wasting your time and energy and that of your staff knowing full well that a third party candidate has no hope in winning a race for POTUS.

Would not your mission be better served trying to get into a state legislature. Congress perhaps in some districts. Or other state offices? And then shoot for POTUS later?

  22. SnooGuavas5535 on

Your campaign has no hope in garnering any type of meaningful support.

Outside of giving the Trump campaign a small boost by pulling a very specific demographic that could otherwise vote Harris, why are you running a campaign that is doomed to immediate and unavoidable failure?

  23. CoffeeCupCompost on

Dr. Stein, you have been the Green Party’s presidential nominee for four elections. As the party’s leader, why is the Green Party not running candidates for down-ballot races?

  24. What are your personal goals for the nation and which of the two major party candidates do you feel is most aligned with that vision?

  25. Hi Jill! What did you discuss when seated with Vladimir Putin and convicted ‘pardoned’ traitor Mike Flynn at the 2015 Moscow Gala Dinner?

  26. The Green Party has done a pretty poor job at running in or winning local or state level races. Are you too focused on the Presidential race?

  27. BlockObvious883 on

Why does your party only seem to exist in presidential elections? Why no effort at the local level? Is the goal solely to siphon votes from the Democratic party in swing states? That’s the impression you give.
