By happenstance I saw CON house leader Andrew scheer argue this case in the house “hand over the documents to the RCMP, the RCMP itself dosent have to open the documents if they believe that it infringes charter right……. , you just have to hand then over… by order of the liberal house speaker Greg Fergus

LIB argument is “handing over the documents is the same as a police officer searching without a search warrant……….it infringes on the charter of rights and freedoms…………..you don’t have a warrant you don’t get the documents ”
