Strongly disagree, as a personal anecdote. Yes, I’m lucky enough to have my parents’ help, but they didn’t even own a home when I was born. They were divorced and broke until I was about 20, then kind of “hit the jackpot” in their own respective ways. The way things were going, I wasn’t going to own property. And I still might not. But it certainly wasn’t decided at birth.
