  1. Max’s Steaks, iconic philly cheesesteak spot just outside of Temple University hospital. Lucky he didn’t get the crap kicked out of him lol

  2. >But the disaster didn’t end there.

    >After showing up at a cheesesteak restaurant to campaign under the auspice of an autism awareness event, McCormick went across the street to East Bethel Baptist Church, which happened to be holding an outdoor fundraiser for its food ministry.

    >The Rev. Thomas Edwards Jr., who leads the church, told his campaign to leave because he didn’t want the GOP candidate to use photos of his congregation for campaigning purposes.

    >“You can Photoshop,” he told the Inquirer. “You can make things seem like they aren’t. Maybe they’re going to post we’re eating dogs or eating cats, like in Ohio. Forgive me if I’m wrong. I don’t trust these people.”

We need more people like Rev. Thomas Edwards Jr

  4. It’s funny… people, no matter their political affiliation, generally don’t like being lied to.

  5. Wow and then the church across the street. The quote from the reverend is priceless “You can Photoshop,” he told the Inquirer. “You can make things seem like they aren’t. Maybe they’re going to post we’re eating dogs or eating cats, like in Ohio. Forgive me if I’m wrong. I don’t trust these people.”

I’m hoping that this kind of recurring headline helps to reinforce a persistent message to Pennsylvania voters: these GOPers are freaks. The whole lot of ‘em.

  7. Charity fraud is major plank of the GOP platform so I expect this to give McCormick a boost.

My autistic rage is intensifying. Fuck you for taking advantage of those who are willing to try and help disabled people. Disgusting.

The Reverend better hope his church isn’t full of Trump lovers like most churches. They will literally exile a man of God to appease a man who thinks he’s a god.

GOP Senate candidate Dave McCormick could have avoided this embarrassment if he’d just been honest, and said the following:

“This isn’t a event to raise awareness about autism. This isn’t an event to honor a food ministry. This is an event to promote psychopathy and sociopathy!! My party, the GOP, is the party of, by, and for the psychopaths and sociopaths, and I’m d#mned proud to be one of them.”

A politician I won’t name came to worship at my church recently. What we didn’t realize until after the service was he came in a truck that had a huge Trump & [Candidates Name] sign in the back and he parked it in such a way that it was very visible from the road and where everyone who pulled into church had to drive by it. I know my pastor was upset after he learned about it and wrote the candidate a letter afterwards expressing his disappointment. It just felt dirty.

  12. OFC a Moms For Liberty member was the ringleader in blatantly lying about the purpose of the event and then attempting to gaslight the owner on top of that.

These fucks are weapons grade Karen. 🤮

Does the GOP think we have forgotten how they treated Gus Walz?

They can’t be trusted to do the right thing
