  2. House prices going to go ballistic (as in, hold-my-beer-2020) levels of crazy, if rates are walked back down, aren’t they?

    Inflation adjusted they have dropped since two years ago, quite a bit. Anyone who uses rightmove and the like can see the market is still not strong, and likely could stay flat for longer. Like most economic data it’s only when you go under the hood and see that really things are only good for the top section of society right now, things aren’t so hot in the middle and even less so in the lower class (I realise those terms are outdated)
