I don’t know that gun but the 60 and the 240 would choke up like this with carbon buildup. Got to clean it!

The rate of fire for this is staggeringly low. Sounds like a Maxim gun, not an MG-3. It should be difficult to tell the shots apart.
Have used the MG-3 extensively, and never seen anything like this. Maybe a broken recoil spring, severely clogged vents on the forward barrel support or some sort of weirdly superheavy bolt? I am stumped.
