  1. Well that’s a warcrime. If there is enough evidence, will anybody do anything about it though?

War crimes no longer mean anything to Russia. They are so deep in the “war crime as a valid strategy” that additional war crimes can’t even change the narrative. We should have hit our red line on this over a year ago.

  3. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://odessa-journal.com/the-largest-mass-execution-russian-forces-shot-16-ukrainian-prisoners-of-war-in-the-pokrovsk-direction) reduced by 69%. (I’m a bot)

    > Russian forces executed 16 Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Pokrovske direction, marking the largest execution since the start of the war.

    > "This is the largest known case of the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war on the front line. It is further evidence that the killing and torture of prisoners is not an isolated incident but a deliberate policy of Russia's military and political leadership," said Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin.

    > "The systemic nature of crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war must be stopped, and those responsible must be held accountable," he added.

  4. Impressive thinking there Russia, as if there hadn’t already been enough reasons to fight to the death and never surrender.
