  1. The momentum is there. Ted Cruz was so close to losing this seat in 2018, and now voters are more energized than ever. This election is so important for Democrats’ chances of holding the Senate in case we lose Jon Tester in Montana. Please please please Texas voters, do your part to make sure Ted Cruz loses this November. I hear he has a nice vacation spot in Cancun he can retire to.

  2. If we lived in a true democracy this might mean something.

Let’s see what happens if the challenger wins by less than a full percent…

I can’t believe this is true until the race is called. Texas has too much fuckery.

Dance, Dance, Dance on Cruz’s (political) Grave!

This would be a dream come true.

Beating Trump is essential for our country’s continued survival, but this outcome would give me the warm and fuzzies I expect usually only get from illegal substance (sadly no personal experience on the latter).

  5. i dont want Cruz to just lost, i want him humiliated. People like him dont deserve a place in leadership positions

  6. Texas hates cruz more than trump then? Any chance to flip texas on the presidential side?

  7. Get Ted Cruz out of the Senate and back working at “South of the Border” where he belongs.

I know everyone wants to celebrate, but Public Policy Polling isn’t a good pollster and is very much Democratically aligned. I would not put much stock into this poll.

  9. If we get rid of Trump & Cruz in the same election, I can probably save some money on therapy.

  10. The only ads Ted is running in Texas are about boys playing in girl sports. I know this resonates with a base but surely no one else. Can’t imagine why he isn’t seeing higher numbers.

  11. The nation is praying that Texas can finally see past screwing the libs and elect a Senator who is actually worthy.

    The title says

    >Another poll shows Ted Cruz trailing Democratic challenger Colin Allred

But the actual poll conducted by Public Policy Polling shows,

    >In Texas, although former President Trump retains a 5
point lead (51 – 46%), Democratic challenger Colin
Allred has narrowed the gap with GOP Senator Ted
Cruz down to only ONE point (47 – 46%) with 7%
    undecided

The article says Allred leads Cruz by a point but the poll actually shows Cruz leads Allred by a point. The writer and editor of San Antonio Current confuse the two candidates’ poll positions.

His name is Raphael Cruz, if he can’t use people’s preferred pronouns or names
    , we shouldn’t use his

    Rafael or Raphael?
    Fuck you or Phuck You?
    Tomato Tomato

    Same thing!

Use your power: Vote this douche nozzle out!

  15. Texans dot like men who cant standup for their own and their families. AllRed has my vote

  16. Heading to the US Consulate in Sydney to cast my Texas absentee ballot as I’m reading this post 🫡

Really hope we can give Ted Cruz the boot

  17. You all need to calm down. In America, ” undecided voters” are just piece of shit conservatives who are too embarrassed to admit they are voting R all te way down the ticket.

If Cruz loses, then he’ll just get hired by one of the many companies he has been essentially been working for since he’s been in office. It’s a win-win for him, sadly.
