Announced this week by former US president Donald Trump, the collection consists of two pieces. One is called “[Fight Fight Fight](https://gettrumpwatches.com/collections/fighter)” and is priced from $499, and the other is the “[Victory Tourbillon](https://gettrumpwatches.com/collections/tourbillon).” The latter is claimed to be made from solid 18-karat gold, with 122 diamonds and a tourbillon automatic movement. It’s priced at a nice, round $100,000—about three times the price of an equivalent [Rolex Submariner](https://www.wired.com/story/martian-time/)—and, yes, [crypto payment](https://www.wired.com/tag/cryptocurrency/) is available.

The watches are claimed to feature “premium, Swiss-Made materials and intricate details,” but so far as we can tell, the Fight Fight Fight uses a movement by Japanese company Seiko, while the Victory Tourbillon has a movement alleged to be partially built from Chinese components.

It gets better. In what quickly starts to resemble the tweet-riddled fever dreams of the extremely online, the watches are produced by a company called TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC, which is based in Sheridan, Wyoming, and, despite no watchmaking history to speak of, has a license agreement to use the Trump name for its timepieces.

“We also accept Bitcoin as payment!”, the [GetTrumpWatches](https://gettrumpwatches.com/) website yells, as if handing over actual dollars to a company who admits the images of the timepieces “are for illustration purposes only” isn’t enough to raise an eyebrow

Also known as a money laundering scheme to allow Russia and Saudi-Arabia to fund his campaign.

  4. Keep pointing out how weird it is to be selling 100000 dollar watches while every maga supposedly can’t afford eggs or diesel or church tithes or whatever else shit they want me to subsidize for them and only them nowadays.

Trump hawking worthless tchotchkes on the coattails of his campaign. What an effing clown.

  6. Fucking hell

They’re not meant to work. You fucking dummies who plunked down your money. A fool and his money…

Enjoy trying to get a refund.

The $100K watch is only there to set the hook and get MAGAs to buy the $500 cheapo version. Another sad con from Don.

  8. Do these watches even work? Since there is no magnetic field on Earth 2. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Someone needs to find the manufacturer and determine the cost of production. $20-50 is my guess.

He probably has a few up each arm for on the spot sales and discounts for cash.

  10. ”The latest Trump watches are available to order now, if you really must, but the website states vaguely how shipping starts in “October/November/December.” Despite only accepting pre-orders at this stage, the seller warns “there are no refunds. All sales are final.”

It adds: “Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays in shipments … We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive.” Most rarely find themselves in the market for a $100,000 watch, but WIRED imagines buyers generally seek more assurances on when their expensive purchases might arrive.

  11. So let’s get real here. We know that the Cheapo versions are going to be for the suckers just like the sneakers and the Bibles and every other con. The $100,000 versions are going to be for all the folks that want to funnel money to his narcissistic psychopathic grifting rear end and this is a way to get around getting the money to him for obvious nefarious purposes.

  12. The money for these watches does not go to the Trump campaign. The money goes directly into Trumps pocket instead.

  13. he didnt make enough out of bibles? If there is a God Trumps going to hell for eternity. I wonder if Peter will send his surporters there to serve him.

  14. “Eggs are 4 dollars per dozen! Outrageous! Anyway, here’s a 100,000 dollar watch you can buy!”

Just waiting for them to just jump on the precious metals bandwagon but instead it’s a spray painted brick.

I’m trying to think what other junk he could try to flog vitamins, pet food, rap album?

  17. Not for public consumption.

A few REALLY stupid people might by one, but that’s not what it’s for.

  18. Chief-_-Wiggum on

Its just another scheme to launder money “legally”. Whoever that needs to pay him buys watches .. thats it.

They don’t expect any watches ever…

Same as every other thing he’s been hocking.

  19. I’m so glad his assassination ‘photo op’ isn’t picking up any steam. No one cares. It should have been the one grift that was his payday for years to come.

“JD, run down the block and pickup a few of those Rolexs the se on the corner; wegot orders to fill.”

  21. Meanwhile, his cult is busy clutching their pearls over Kamala wearing a supposed $60k Tiffany necklace.

  22. This is a front for Trump to accept foreign money. The watches can be paid for by crypto (untraceable) and they’re made to order – they don’t exist, and there’s no delivery time given to the purchaser. It’s a scam, US.

Also why don’t Americans see how weird it is for a presidential candidate to be hawking products? If anyone else did this, it would be pathetic

  23. HelpfulTap8256 on

It physically looks like a 15 dollar Ali Baba watch – that cheap clasp is a dead giveaway. I assume it’s made out of gold plated brass.

  24. This watch is intentional Vapor ware. It will never exist, no one will get product. It’s means to be able to get funding from people not in the USA without being a funding issue. This way the Egyptian Secret Service can buy 100 watches like this and noone has any questions on where the 10 million came from.

For a hundred grand I could just ~~bribe~~ provide a campaign contribution to a Republican congressman to follow me around and tell me the time.

  26. ContributionFew4340 on

It’s a way for him to accept illegal donations. Only accepts bitcoin and there is no prototype to speak of. Small print says he reserves the right to provide his own shipping. Criminal behavior. Shocking!!

Trump really makes America look like a clown country to the outside world. No wonder Putin and Xi want him to win, it will be destructive to America and it will allow them to seize more global power

  28. Complaintsdept123 on

Bad headline. It’s not a watch, it’s a multimillion dollar bribery scheme for our foreign enemies to use to buy themselves a President.

The first thought I had was… great. Who’s gonna fix em? The answer is nobody. There is a barely-existent support structure for established watch brands in the USA. Who’s gonna service them? How long are spare parts going to be available? Need extra links so it can fit your wrist? Is there a customer service department to stock that extra link in 2 years? No fuckin way. Warranty repairs? HA! This is a flash in the pan brand that will have zero back end support.
