  1. These ideas are far too rational to catch on in 21st politics that depend on fear and rage to propagate ideas

This centre-right, progressive conservative party should receive more attention and support going forward. Their existence is a net positive for Canada and Canadians.

  3. Cardy and CFC need to focus on one and only one riding next election to get their foot in the door.

I suggest Fredericton. It’s gonna flip and can pull in the green voters from 2019.

  4. The merger of the former Conservative party and the Canadian Alliance party has doomed the current Conservative Party of Canada to always have to placate the Christian Nationalist in their party.

These are the people who apparently have now taken over the party, as evidenced by the ouster of O’Toole over forcing the members to vote on the unanimous consent for banning conversion therapy in Canada.

A new centre-right leaning party, without those nutjobs, is healthy for Canada as a whole, and is a welcome addition to federal politics.

  5. Literal slavery used to exist and people at the time thought it was acceptable. Women couldn’t vote, couldn’t own things, were treated like children. People thought it was acceptable. Homosexuals were persecuted and discriminated against. People thought it was acceptable.

It’s difficult to understand that an action can be immoral or unreasonable when everyone is doing it.

Our society hasn’t shed all of its bullshit yet. The problem is that most people can’t even identify the bullshit.
