Iran is hiding something, the government is really unpopular and maybe they have bigger issues to deal with internally. Something that isn’t public yet.

  2. This is exactly why eliminating Nasrallah was so critical – there is very little honor amongst thieves. Things are about to get much more difficult for Iran to coordinate as the finger pointing begins amidst the quest to fill the power vacuum.

And no, don’t fall for this. There is never one source of intel for a decision of this magnitude. Everyone is still looking at everyone else suspiciously as they try to sort out just how compromised they really are.

Le Parisien uses the term “Iranian mole” not “Iranian spy”, which makes a bit more sense I guess. But let’s be clear, the “well-informed Lebanese security source” is potentially part of the Lebanese State Security and this statement may be an attempt to shift blame away from any Lebanese actors.

  4. It seems like the perfect time for Israel to make some “slip ups” regarding informants in Hizbollah to get them even more paranoid.

  5. Part of the implication by this report is that Iran’s power-mad religious leaders will become even more paranoid about people in their ranks. Which is great, paralyze them with fear.

    A power play?

I wonder if someone powerful in the Iranian hierarchy who is at odds with the Ayatollah is making their move?

Israel knows where these terrorists live and have plenty of cards left to play would seem very plausible given the sheer speed and efficiency of their campaign so far

Not buying that Le Parisen has a contact willing to drop this little nugget that is high enough up the food chain to actually know.
