  1. DIS-information. Way fucking different.

This is knowingly spreading lies, not a “Whoopsie I got things mixed up”.

Just wait until election day, and this guy will massively amplify every single piece of “evidence of election fraud” or “illegal migrants being bussed in” and everything else, it will be a shitshow.

And besides that, he is just casually normalising nazism, no biggie I guess since its all just entertainment now

  3. If Harris wins we need to uncouple this freak from our national security apparatus completely – he is evil.

“Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists” to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present-day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social, and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”.

Salon tweeted this story out on Musk’s platform….

Do they still not get that their use of the platform keeps it going?

  6. One it soothes his ego to feel like he’s orchestrating something.

Two he thinks it makes people like him.

Third it validates his product which is to turn Twitter into a paid for mass disinformation platform to influence others.

He needs the legit ad dollars from companies as a way to both prop up the business and pretend Twitter isn’t in the mass disinformation business.

  7. anyone that still has an account on twitter is complicit with this pathetic human being

there is no excuse left, you can t be addicted to an app to the point of degrading your own values

Isn’t it kind of obvious that Musk was used to take down Twitter and convert it into a right-wing media platform because it was ostensibly too damaging to Republicans? Perhaps it was a result of Musk’s hubris initially, but certainly thereafter you saw Saudis and Russians say, “Okay we’ll bankroll you to undermine this!”

  9. He’s doing it now left-leaning creators, and people who follow them are getting their accounts permanently banned for no reason when you hit the appeal button it goes nowhere. He’s doing everything he can to Kamala Harris’s campaign me, and about two dozen people that I know have had their accounts, suspended indefinitely and no reason to why they were suspended no emails no nothing

So is this what happens to the human mind when you have too much money, too much power, and no ethics or morals. It’s like straight out of a horror show. What an unmitigated jerk.

Never buying any thing from his companies.

Honestly, the more I see of Musk’s true colors, the more I want to sell my Tesla. I’m not there yet, cause it’s a great family car, it’s served me well, and it protected me from a car accident last year. Overall? I enjoy my car, and I know I’m not alone in how I feel about this.

It just sucks to know that I’m contributing money to this sociopathic nutjob.

I got an alert from X on my phone from some random account I don’t follow stating that Mexico shot missiles at trumps airplane and last week I got one from another account I don’t follow stating that Biden used Iran to hack the trump campaign.

It seems that the people who complain the most about restrictions on free speech by Private Companies are those most intent on disseminating disinformation, conspiracy theories, and propaganda. The Donvict and Leon being to excellent examples.

  14. And why are we doing nothing about this especially as he is fully engrained at all levels of our government

  15. Elon didn’t fund this. We know who’s funding. They have a vested interest in disinformation.

Everyone needs to quit X now. Use bluesy, use threads, use mastodon, use nothing. Don’t use X.

  16. Isn’t there a subreddit called Conspiracy Theories or something along that line? What’s the difference between that and twitter conspiracy theorists? Obviously besides Reddit being the better and more organized platform.
