Coyotes, wolves, bobcats, and cougars are known to be in the foothills area and regularly prey upon pets. Even inside Calgary, due to the massive amounts of natural park space, people should be careful when they’re walking though the parks because these animals can be present.
This doesn’t sound like news, it sounds like people who were unaware of the dangers that exist in their back yard.
