Personally I find that hard to believe. This MP has extreme views on sex, it seems to be on his mind quite alot. I’m more inclined to believe he was being malicious when he involved the imagery of Tom Clark sharing a bathtub with world leaders (weird)
But that’s just me forming my opinion based on this MPs history.
Garnett is a prime example of the kind of batshit crazy that will have an outsized influence on any government the CPC might manage to form. I shudder to think the damage they might manage to do should Canadians be foolish enough to give them a majority….

It’s a weird comment to make regardless of what he was ‘talking about’. It didn’t make me more likely to respect his stance on things.

Anyone who believes this will love this guy. Everyone knows what he meant, it was a childish comment that should be beneath an adult. The fact his juvenile denial is his response rather than an apology shows his disdain for the House as he believes this will avoid punishment.
They are not fit to lead.

Being gay is about so much more than sex, so frankly it doesn’t matter. It was still a cheap homophobic jab.
If someone mentions homosexuality and his mind immediately goes to gay sex, that’s a problem. It’s the kind of logic being used to brand lgbtq+ topics as inherently sexual and too explicit to be allowed to exist in public. Politicians all over the world are trying to force us back into the closet based on this strange fixation they have on how we bone.

I engage with men in my bathtub all the time. It has nothing to do with sex. We discuss world events, wash each other, and maybe perform the odd hand job if anything at all.
I have no idea why the Liberals are implying this comment was somehow sexual in nature.
