Apple won’t deliver to an AFPO for security reasons. Their delivery terms are signature only. I’m sending to small town and when that person receives parcels addressed to their home address the Local Post Office put a card in their letterbox to collect their parcel. Should I ship via Apple or not?

That’s fine, they’ll get a card and have to go down to the post office, show ID and sign for it. That’s the point. Signature and a face on camera. It is a commonly frauded item as it has high resell potential.
If you google it an AFPO is for posting mail to deployed members of the ADF. It’s basically the army post office.
Just send it to their address and if the locals have their own set up for picking up parcels I’m sure it will all come out in the wash.
