THis will be an unconstitutional clusterfuck, mark my words.

Watch for the Albertans to try to make gun rights a thing, make it easier to discriminate against the LGBTQ community, destroy public heath care and education, and pander to christian religious extremism.

Bets are that they’ll have to use Notwithstanding, AND the unconstitutional Sovereignty Act to try to stick this.

  2. They’ll protect the freedoms of the unvaccinated and gun owners while taking away freedoms of trans and LGTBQ2+ and women’s bodily autonomy. That’s not my Alberta. Cannot wait for all of us to vote this shitshow UCP out next election.

    > The amendments will ensure Albertans cannot be deprived of their personal property without due process and just compensation.

Presently, you cannot sue the police in small claims court.

I hope the amendments include this change.

  4. The government shouldn’t be able to steal from you and everyone especially women and LGBT should be able to possess arms and have that right protected.
