  1. Good for them. Watch the recent last week with John Oliver . He explains how this whole thing was designed by Mr eyeliner.

    And they won’t even have to go through discovery. There is enough evidence and admission of guilt in the public record that in a rational world would make this a slam dunk.

  3. I’m not sure if criminal charges are the best option here. I think a defamation lawsuit combined with a request for a preliminary injunction to make Trump/Vance stop talking about Springfield might work better.

    The charges:

    * disrupting public service
    * making false alarms
    * committing telecommunications harassment
    * committing aggravated menacing
    * committing aggravated menacing
    * violating the prohibition against complicity

  5. Inciting violence is a crime. I’d really like to see Trump and Vance face justice for the harm they’ve caused. Their inability to use their platform to speak responsibly and their inclination to instead use it to foment discord is one of the most significant reasons why they’re both entirely unfit to serve in office.

    I hope they Vodou curse him and poke his doll in the ass with pins. Every hour. On the hour.

    For those that are confused how a civilian group could “bring criminal charges”, the first sentence of the article explains:

    > In the state of Ohio, private citizens have the ability to legally file criminal charges.

  8. As they should. It was legit libel. It was an admitted made up story and it put them in unnecessary danger.

    Finally! What I don’t get is more than 270K people from Haitian descent live in Florida. Hope they turn in droves to but these aholes out

  10. 1A is getting out of control. If you knowingly say something that you know is untrue, officials come out and say it is untrue, you keep saying it, and then bomb threats and other incidents arise, you should be held accountable

  11. > In the state of Ohio, private citizens have the ability to legally file criminal charges.

    TIL

  12. I didn’t know that private citizens could file criminal charges in some states

    The more you know🤔

    Wow, had no idea citizens could bring criminal charges in Ohio. They picked a bad state to.pull this crap in. I wonder what else we could charge JD with?

    I am sure Gym Jordan will attempt to intervene here but to me if they get charged with this it makes a civil lawsuit all that much easier. Sue JD back to Kentucky were he really came from.

  15. As they should. Make sure they (Trump and Vance) know they can’t make inflammatory comments without some consequences.

  16. Me and my husband were just talking last night that we may have a case against Trump concerning his comments (lies) about late term abortion. This makes me feel like it may be worth it because I feel as though his lies have taken a little bit of our dignity and our son’s.

    He should be held accountable for every lie that leads to harassment or emotional turmoil which is a growing list.

  17. Would love to see this happen but I think the best we can hope for is for this to cause them more anxiety and raises their blood pressure. Hopefully it will turn more people against them.

  18. “Kamala Harris dropped 20,000 Haitian migrants into a small Ohio town and chaos has ensued.

    Housing shortages have caused rents to skyrocket, hospitals are overrun, schools are ill-equipped to teach students who don’t speak English, and the roads are unsafe as unlicensed drivers have caused a massive increase in roadway accidents.”

    This has been his main narrative. This is politics. NAL. No way in hell a suit would have any merit.

  19. I hope they’re punished to the full extent of the law, but they won’t be, because US judges are scared of rightwing bitch terrorists

  20. Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung, responds to the lawsuit:

    ““President Trump is rightfully highlighting the failed immigration system that Kamala Harris has overseen, bringing thousands of illegal immigrants pouring into communities like Springfield and many others across the country”

     Haitians in Springfield are there legally. He can be added to the lawsuit too.

  21. All the election officials from 2020 that he bullied and spread lies should band together and sue him as well.
