It really fvcks me off when people instantly blame the parents for their kid going off the rails.
My neighbour has 4 kids. 3 are normal polite and decent folks. 1 (who is a twin) is well and truly off the rails. They are high earners, I have no doubt they provide for all the kids needs. I know they have paid for private support. I honestly don’t know what more they could be expected to do, they have been visibly distressed/embarrassed when an incident has occurred.
