  1. Law of unintended consequences. Unfortunately some staff are employed on ongoing casual contracts because the money isn’t there to employ them full time while still paying the dean enough to maintain their luxury car collection.

    If you put them in a position of having to choose, the casuals will get the stick, not the luxury car collection.

    Why can’t I get full time employment for a role i can never be sacked from in a field with limited demand and usefulness? Riddle me this oh great and wonderful doctor of philosophy.

  3. Then leave the immoral greedy universities out in the cold – blackban them – don’t work there.
    These money hungry pricks have the cash and a good idea of role and course demand. Fuck the universities.
