How does a cargo ship run aground in the middle of the ocean (assuming the map is accurate)?

not “runs aground”. It was ordered to stop. It’s not like it hit something where it’s stopped…

I call BS. The Danish source they list simply say that it has stopped moving, not that it has run aground. It also specifically says that it has stopped due to a potential change of plans since it has been denied entry to the Lithuanian port it was on its way to.

Everyone here in Nova Scotia agree with the choice to deny entry to their harbours. By my guesstimate that 20,000 tons of ammonia nitrate would double the blast we got from the SS Mont-Blanc.
