  1. I wish Labor would walk the walk more than they talk on matters of integrity. I’m really hoping that the crossbench massively increases next election. Of course there is a better choice between the two major parties, but I still don’t like the choice of diarrhea or dysentery.

    >The independent body will be able to deal with less serious complaints and impose limited sanctions by itself, which can include training, professional development and behaviour agreements.

    >But if the misconduct is deemed more serious, the body will have to refer it to the privileges committee – **made up of government and opposition members** – to consider the appropriate sanctions.
