  1. China is pushing EVs, even paying to get ICE off the road. Meanwhile Westren leadership is listening to legacy interests and not keeping their climate promises.

  2. Also, China’s huge high-speed rail network is displacing vast numbers of extremely high-polluting airline flights–and typically while saving travel time, as trains go straight between city centers rather than outlying airports.
