The best chance the rest of the country has is to increase their population to equal Quebec’s so that they have more representation (seats) in government. This country is basically ruled by ON/QC and no one else matters…

Blanchet’s doing this seemingly only to try and expand OAS payments for those 65-74, which he seems to think he can convince the Liberals to support via a Bloc private member’s bill.
I’d laugh my ass off if Trudeau says he can’t support that before next Wednesday, but I’d laugh even harder if he waits until after.

He’s going to see his support erode to the NDP in Quebec, which doesn’t matter to PP, the three of those parties can battle for Quebec with the additional seats in the West.
