  1. Throwing the young and youth under the bus to keep old employees happy is a time honoured tradition for unions and an easy way to get union support to drop with new and youth workers.

  2. About 40% of the pilots are recent hires so hopefully enough of the senior ones stand in solidarity with them that the TA gets voted down.

  3. I don’t give a shit your seniority level. Pay a fucking pilot enough to not consider crashing my plane for their life insurance payment please.

  4. Still no guaranteed days off, still forced to work on days off several times a year, still no real vacation time. Still working significantly more than WJ or Porter guys. This will get voted down pretty quick.

    And conveniently enough, the “raise” the company says they’re giving includes an increase in work hours as well as profit share, which the pilots won’t get anymore…
