Hello everyone! 😄
I’m Monika from Germany, and I’m currently working on a research paper, which explores Australian identity, focusing specifically on how identity is expressed through language. For this study, I’m exploring Australian English (AusE) word formations, particularly hypocoristics. Hypocoristics refer to shortened, informal versions of words, often used as terms of endearment. Some popular examples include “brekkie” for breakfast, “barbie” for BBQ, and “arvo” for afternoon.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could spare 10-15 minutes to participate in the survey. This project has given me a deeper appreciation of Australian culture and language, and I’m excited to hear your thoughts and insights!

Thank you again in advance! **Here’s the link to the survey:**[https://www.survio.com/survey/d/N4R8X2M0L8A7V6U0H](https://www.survio.com/survey/d/N4R8X2M0L8A7V6U0H)
