Well yeah, she’s Scott Morrison’s scapegoat. That’s the whole reason this inquiry has stalled, as people in power know that Morrison signed off on everything and if these bureaucrats go down they will try and take him with them. No one wants to embarrass the Australian government by having to put an ex-PM on trial so the whole thing will just get swept under the rug.

She should claim she was bullied because of scoops misogyny or something like that. I’m surprised going to the press with that wasn’t the first tactic. Is she a victim? No of course not, but if she got to blow that angle up big enough she could probably get away with less punishment.
