    > “Broadly, I think we are doing a very good job and the research that we have into the overall public response is good. But that doesn’t mean we are perfect.”

    > Davie added: “We take complaints seriously. We’ll go through them, and we won’t just be, frankly, in auto-defence. But we also stand up for our journalists. We’ll stand up for people doing a good job.”

This has all kinds of “we have investigated ourselves and found that we are super awesome with barely anything to nitpick, but yeah we’re pretty great and we take all the complaints seriously even though they are wrong, probably.” hokum vibes.

  2. Well, BBC tarnished itself. It takes time to build reputation of integrity and objectivity but take only a moment to bring crashing down.

Now, if you want to regain it you’ll have to let your work speak for itself.

  3. … that will never be released, just like their last ‘deep, systematic’ review of its Israel coverage.

This is gonna end like that time they investigated themselves for their antisemitism problem.

  5. Ah, the Biased Broadcasting Corporation at it again. They seem to be only slightly less pro-Palestine than Al Jazeera.

Myriad interviews and reports about “how bad things are in Gaza” and obvious disdain for Israel’s claims that they’re targetting Hamas.
