ARSA started off as a group that fought against both the Myanmar military and AA back in 2016. Now, the former [aids ](https://www.tni.org/en/article/arakan-at-the-crossroads)the military junta (the same establishment that did the majority of genocidal actions against the Rohingya in the first place) and forcefully conscripts Rohingya to “fight against AA oppressors.”
