    Don’t sea creatures use those currents? Seems like a bad idea for marine life.

  2. Japan seems to be obsessed with trying absurdly expensive and ineffective things that don’t work and allow them to continue burning coal.

    Other than that: good news when Japan works on renewables. Much better than their thermal plant obsession.

    Of course it’s a bad idea for marine life. But that’s not going to stop anyone, and burning carbon is probably worse
