Yeah, I’d say the US needs at least 20 GW/year of wind capacity being installed to make the transition happen in a sensible time frame. Under 10 GW is not good.
20 GW/year of wind, and 100 GW/year of solar would do it.

Different from China, where install wind power is actually generating more kWh than solar despite much greater installed capacity.
