I don’t think there is anything to worry about, solar being cheaper than wind, available in more locations, less commitment needed and the issues wind has had coming out of covid supply chain issues is obviously going to push more towards solar for the next few years. Most renewable energy of the future will be solar

    That said, you are going to need wind one way or the other as it is cheaper to put up wind than storage

    When all said and done, the solar capacity will probably be 5-10x the wind capacity in the US. Doing whatever is easiest and whatever can scale the fastest is still fine. The batteries coming online will make both of them more useful.
