The UCP released their map of ‘protected areas’ where they don’t want solar or wind power projects going. It covers most of the places you might want to put a utility scale solar or wind farm. It is what we always knew it was going to be, an attack on renewable energy production by politicians owned by O&G corporations.

I wonder how rooftop solar is doing in Alberta since this is going to be a squeeze on utility scale solar.
