Unfortunately his worshipers don’t care, and the psychopaths, sociopaths, and crooked businesspersons would be perfectly happy to have Vance end the Republic, maybe more so since he is actually more evil than Trump.

The plan is clearly bait and switch. Use Trump to win the Presidency, replace him with JD Vance.

  4. Trump’s music-filled town hall felt more like a concert than a political event it’s concerning that he seems out of touch with reality, treating serious moments like fainting as a joke.

It’s proof he has no substance beyond the lies and insults. A normal politician would have used the time to meet the attendees, make small talk and make them feel seen and heard. Instead, he is running solely for self interest. Couldn’t care less who the attendees are.

No he thinks the Supreme Court and his maga loyalist fucks are going to install into office so he can just say and do whatever he wants.

  7. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://newrepublic.com/post/187162/trump-music-town-hall) reduced by 73%. (I’m a bot)

    > In response, the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus filed a legal complaint with the state attorney general, accusing Barrett's campaign of trying to hurt Black voter turnout with the ad. The group says that such efforts are illegal in Michigan, where purposefully spreading misinformation about the election process to stop people from voting is a crime.

    > "Tom Barrett and his Campaign placed two nearly identical ads in two different newspapers within a week of each other. The ad placed in the newspaper read predominantly by Black voters has the wrong election date; while the ad placed in the newspaper not read predominantly by Black voters has the correct election date.”

    > In 2020, several Facebook ads targeted Black and Latino voters with various false claims about President Biden and Black Lives Matter.

It’s so crazy to think how after the first 10 minutes of music and swaying nobody tryed to tell him “ sir let’s call it a night ok”

  9. No matter how he acts, looks or says he will still possibly win this race. You can’t sway anyone in this country.

The sane-washing on this story is maybe as desperate as I’ve seen it from a couple outlets.

Noem tries to rein Trump’s comments in at at least one point when addressing a “gold star” family.

Trump, making it about him, as usual: “It’s a little harder to get up since I got shot. It made it more difficult. Perhaps that’s the way it’s supposed to be.”

Noem: “Sir, They lost their son Michael.”

It was certainly not a “Town Hall” in any traditional sense. It was Trump supporters asking Trump soft-ball questions, with Trump giving vague answers as usual, then comments of either Trump praise or criticism of current and past Democratic administrations from the commenters.
