  1. “You should want children so they too can suffer the consequences of their grandparents’ actions” – JD Vance

    >“You see it sometimes in the political conversation, people saying maybe we shouldn’t have kids because of climate change. You know, when I’ve used this word sociopathic? That is a very deranged idea: the idea that you shouldn’t have a family because of concerns over climate change,” he said.

    >“That is a bizarre way of thinking about the future. Not to have kids because of concerns over climate change?… That’s a really, really crazy way to think about the world.”

I don’t want to have children. I don’t even want to have sex. I’m asexual and sex-repulsed. Being an asexual guy, I’m used to being counter to the stereotype. It’s so bizarre how so many people out here have the mindset of JD Vance, where if you don’t like doing something that they deem proper and expected of you, they have to try and force you, essentially browbeat you into doing it.

That’s sociopathic to me. Busybodies who don’t care to leave their nose out of everyone’s business is what’s crazy to me.

I really want that jerk to call me deranged to my face.

After all, his obsession about breeding is freaking deranged and creepy as fuck.

  4. Women can’t have fucking children is because too fucking expensive. If you’re barely living, having children would drive you to poverty.

  5. PerfectAstronaut on

Telling other people how many kids to have is what is deranged. Even caring what they do is odd

  6. bigbeatmanifesto- on

Why would women want to get pregnant when gynecologists are leaving red states and women are bleeding from miscarriages in parking lots?

  7. postconsumerwat on

So deranged to not want to have kids an struggle to raise them in crazy world full of liars who do not even appreciate the world… I would rather appreciate what is left before it’s gone and by then I will also be gone…

So incredibly beautiful here no thanks to those goons of supreme ugliness

Project 2025 has a plan for those people who don’t want to have kids because of climate change—no news or meteorologist will be allowed to speak of climate change. That is why Project 2025 wants to get rid of NOAA—scrap any organization that would inform the public of climate change. And they will then start their own fake narrative of how climate change is reversing and abolish birth control methods and require all women of birthing age to reproduce. It really is dystopian. Vance is a nightmare.

  9. That guy can go fuck himself. That’s coming from someone with 2 kids that are the best decisions I’ve ever made. Him calling childless women psychopaths is the pot calling the kettle black.

  10. I’m no political strategist, and I am certainly not a woman, but going after women in this manner will probably not convince them to have children.

There are a million factors which prevent people from having children. Economic factors, social factors, environmental factors, and personal factors.

Not to mention that some women just simply don’t want to have kids no matter what their situation is.

Instead of shaming them for not having children, maybe show a little empathy to grow your coalition, instead of trying to score political points with your base. Try to address some of those concerns and maybe some will be persuaded.

His whole strategy from the very beginning has left me dumbfounded. Half the voters in America are women, and being hell bent on turning them off to your message is an incredibly bold (stupid) choice.

This man child is a cowardly, moronic, little weasel who would try bully you in front of a crowd of his supporters, and then would snap like a lunatic at you and then cower away and play the innocent victim in a one on one physical confrontation.

They’re all in a titter about this because its the dirty little secret of capitalism. The whole thing implodes without exponential population growth. If people aren’t constantly pumping out wage slaves, the entire system breaks down because there will be no one around tomorrow to pay for what was
ordered today. The entire system is built of kicking the can to the next generation but the bills coming due.

  13. I’ve yet to hear him say a word about guys (like me) who chose early on in life to not have kids. Why the difference, JD? It takes two to tango, so the guys should be on an equal playing field here.

  14. What about lack of abortion?
Lack of social policies for families?
    The difficulty in affording childcare?
The lack of support for mothers post birth?

I’m sure those are all deranged reasons too.

  15. BTW, notice whenever he says stuff like this, he’s always blaming the woman part of the equation. Gotta love misogyny. [/s]

  16. NoreastNorwest on

Why is he so obsessed with human reproduction? Doesn’t he have a hobby? Or a sofa he could molest?

  17. taco_studies_major on

I listened to his whole interview with the NYT reporter. He was claiming that America is anti-family and anti-children because he saw a single mother years ago in a train ride and she had like 4 kids who were running all over the train and people were side-eyeing her. So to him, people being bothered by hyperactive kids means that overall America is swinging towards Anti-Family sentiment. This interview was truly eye-opening. He can articulate his insane viewpoints really well, like they almost come off as normal person being reasonable. But you need a few seconds to process what he actually said and then you realize how truly insane Vance is. Honestly, Vance sometimes terrifies me more than Trump.

  18. No_Huckleberry2350 on

Why doesn’t he ever talk about men not having kids. Last time I checked, there are two people involved in the process and lots of guys aren’t interested in kids.

  19. You know what’s deranged? Commenting on childbirth as JD Vanch. Just STFU.

Seriously, Just Don’t needs to STFU about women and children, and birth, stat.

    Thank you.

  20. For JD, women having any kind of choice or thinking independently is deranged because he’s a misogynist.

  21. Makes sense to me.

    /s

    I cannot decide…

Do I vote for Kamala, who may be black, may be indian and is (probably) a person with ladies bits with a VPOTUS candidate from a state that is known for Hor Dish or

DJT who’s brain probably resides in that orange furry critter on top of his head

    It’s quote the the conundrum.

  22. They are anti-woman.

When they took away your reproductive rights, they vastly refused to make exceptions to prioritize the woman’s life over a fetus. They aren’t pro-life, they’re anti-woman.

They tell you over and over again what you can do with your body. You were told your life serves no purpose other than a vessel and they keep saying it. They’re anti-woman.

They tell you they’re small government. Then your doctor tells you they can’t remove a dead fetus from your body to prevent you from dying because republicans made it illegal to do so.

They tell you they’re the party of freedom and rights, they love the second amendment, isn’t that proof enough??!! Then they take away your decision to decide what’s best for your body because they think you’re too stupid or “deranged” to do so.

    Republicans are anti-woman.

  23. MyDarlingCaptHolt on

I think Republicans who have fewer than 12 children are deranged.

Why doesn’t he have more children?

Why is his wife an empty vessel?

Why isn’t he filling his wife with more seeds?

His wife is so useless, not bearing more children for him. Her womb is going to waste, because she’s not bearing any more children. Isn’t he a man? Doesn’t he care about the future of this country? Why is he so deranged?

Why won’t he make his uterus-wife consistently pop out more children, when he continues to insist that this is what women are made for?

This is fucking stupid. God I hate this guy.

I’m a man and genuinely even *I* might not want kids specifically because of climate change. Why would I want my children to suffer?
