He’s not only the president of a country, but he’s also flying the bombers that launch glide bombs, helming the frigates that launch cruise missiles, piloting drones that drop grenades on civilians, manning artillery pieces that blast out North Korean shells, kidnapping Ukrainian “orphans” to “safety” in Russia, executing Ukrainian POWs on the frontline, and rаріng Ukrainians in occupied Ukraine.
When will more Westerners (and “good” Russians) finally ditch the lie about the *Russians’* war on Ukrainians being just “Putin’s War”?
No one calls the German invasions of the rest of Europe in the 1930s and 1940s “Hitler’s War”.
No one calls the Italian invasions of North Africa and southern Europe in the 1930s and 1940s “Mussolini’s War”.
No one calls the Russian invasions of Finland and Eastern Europe up to 1941 “Stalin’s War”.
No one calls the Japanese invasions of the rest of Asia in the 1930s and 1940s “Hirohito’s War”.
No one calls the Russian invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 “Brezhnev’s War”.
No one calls the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 “G.W. Bush’s War”.
No one calls the Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008 “Putin’s War”.
