I’d prefer to just see this convicted felon rot in prison but hey, if that’s what he wants he should bring it up at sentencing.

It’s incredibly sad that it’s a UK news outlet, and not the NYT or CNN with an identical headline.

DEA was in China trying to get the Chinese government to crack down on selling precursors to mexican drug cartels. The CCP has a corruption problem on par with Russia.
It kind of failed because many of those chinese regulaters have connections in the CCP. That’s how the corruption spreads like a cancer in dictatorships.

No justice system is perfect. Mistakes are made and with the death penalty there is no possibility of undoing the mistake.
And Trump is a classic example of what happens when you have an imperfect justice system. He has indulged in gross criminal behavior over decades and has still not received any punishment.
That’s a mistake that can and indeed should be undone.

Ask any normal person about their children, and they immediately soften and warm up. They gave him a great opening to make him appear human, and he took a dump all over it.

He did answer the question. Misbehaving children should get the death penalty. Not listening to Daddy Donald will also get the death penalty. That’s what I take from that.
Who wouldn’t understand how when one is asked about family, one would in turn discuss people being killed for committing grievous crimes?

The death penalty has never been a deterrent to capital crimes. Criminals never believe that they will get caught. Sure, plenty are prosecuted and executed, but the threat of death has never been an effective prevention.
Trump talks big, but his solutions are just as impotent as he is.
