  1. The Liberals were purging every trace of contact between the PMO and the guy CSIS wanted to wiretap, of course.

  2. This is the guy who said legalizing pot was the same as legalizing murder, who now owns a dispensary..

    He was probably high.

This article is being kind to Blair, and accepting his version. Yet the very same Globe and Mail wrote this yesterday:

    >“The public inquiry into foreign interference heard testimony Tuesday that it took “some time” for then Public Safety minister Bill Blair and his staff to get “comfortable” with authorizing an eavesdropping and entry warrant in 2021 directed at Liberal powerbroker Michael Chan. The inquiry has already heard that it took 54 days for Mr. Blair to sign the Canadian Security Intelligence Service warrant”

  4. I can’t recall any prior Canadian Government being so incompetent/corrupt.

just when you think they’ve learned their lessons from other questionable actions and scandals stuff like this comes out.

Bill Blair has been a corrupt dickhead in every single office he’s held; he is for sale to any high bidder and will act as an agent of personal/nepotistic/social gain at the first opportunity. To call him calculating would give him too much credit when he’s really more of a useful idiot.

A worm has more spine than that sad excuse for a man

They were trying to speed up defence acquisition and save Canadian taxpayers literally billions of $, by taking the politician out of the process.
