Who can defend this? Who can explain how this isn’t the most obvious and heinous war crime of all? Deliberately endangering children by turning schools into military facilities.
How can anyone propose letting these people remain in government in any way? How is this not completely disqualifying?
It is time for people to start asking the people calling for a ceasefire these questions. Let’s see what they have to say for themselves when put to the test of explaining this.

I would be very surprised if this didn’t happen in the days after the attack! Hamas has been using the UN schools in Gaza as protection for years – so positioning command and control in them after the attack would be expected.
