Check out their FL poll though, I think we can safely move it out of swing states territory forever. The good news is is that FL is sucking up conservative retirees from midwest states making them more dem friendly while at the same time making FL a GOP stronghold.

Notably, this is the first time Harris has led in a NYT/Siena poll since July, and she’s leading 49-46:
> The poll, released Tuesday, shows Harris with a three-point lead over Trump, 49 percent to 46 percent, in a head-to-head matchup among likely voters.
I know a lot of people were worried when their last poll came out showing a tied race, given that NYT/Siena is usually considered a very accurate pollster. A 3 point lead is still way too close for comfort though, but we’re in the final stretch of the election now. Everyone please do your part to vote and make sure that Trump does not return to the White House.

Well yeah, the dude is like a one hit wonder musician, who shows up at music festivals playing that one song.
At first it’s cool, everyone loves the novelty of it. But it quickly wears out the more you hear it.
And it gets especially more annoying, when he says he’s got “new material” and it’s just the same song remixed.
Only his song is just complaining and being all “Me me me!”

These NYT polls are especially interesting because they aren’t weighting on recall vote. Going to be interesting which weighting strategy wins out.

Both of them could be considered incumbents in different ways. Only one of them could be considered a relatively normal human being.

Holy shit! I fucking HOPE not. I’m voting for her so we can have stability in the face of all the change.
I kinda hope she has a very boring and uneventful presidency TBH.

Either NYT has started to fix its bizarre sample issues or that’s an *exceptionally* bad number for Trump.

I’m interested in the buried lede there that the NYTimes discovered we now elect Presidents based on a national popular vote.
Otherwise why spend resources reporting on something that’s a trivial side effect?

Harris being viewed as more likely to represent change is a real fuck you to the GOP. Trump’s entire campaign is basically “America is falling apart and we need rapid change or we all die.” If Harris is viewed as that mechanism of change they’re really just kind of helping her right?

Depends on what your definition of change is. I think she can make changes in a positive way.
That being said there is nobody threatening to make more change than Trump and his project 2025. Not good change ether.
